Wycieczka do Manavgat, Aspendos i Side z Alanii

This was by far the most unforgettable day of my trip to Antalya! I went on a trip covering Aspendos, Side, and Manavgat, and I never imagined I could experience so many different emotions in just a single day. Time-traveling back to the Roman Empire and then cooling off next to the icy waters of wild nature was a truly incredible experience.What fascinated me the most was the grandeur of the architecture and the raw power of nature. For instance, the moment I stepped inside the Aspendos Theater, it took my breath away. I climbed all the way up to the highest step of this massive, 2000-year-old structure. You can clearly hear our guide’s whisper from the middle of the stage, even when standing at the very top! This must be exactly what they mean by engineering genius.Shortly after, I found myself in the Ancient City of Side, which stretches out toward the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. It is such a strange and wonderful feeling to walk down modern streets and suddenly run into thousand-year-old columns! The Temple of Apollo, rising in all its glory right on the seashore, was an absolute visual feast. I will never forget the sight of those white marble columns set against the endless blue sea. I think I took hundreds of photos there!After the scorching heat of the day, Manavgat Waterfall came to our rescue. The waterfall doesn't cascade from a massive height, but it flows so powerfully and widely that its roaring sound alone is enough to soothe you. The moment I got close to the water, the cool mist hitting my face instantly revived me. I sat at one of the shaded cafes by the river, listened to the gushing water, and enjoyed a wonderful cup of Turkish coffee. All the sweet exhaustion of the day just melted away right there.Even if you are not a history buff, do not leave Antalya without seeing these three spots. On one side, you have an architectural marvel of a theater; on the other, an ancient city embracing the sea; and finally, a waterfall that calms the soul. It was definitely a 5-star experience
